These resources were initially shared as part of a 12 week weight loss and wellbeing programme that we ran from February to July 20234. Based on the experiences and feedback we received from people who took part we have updated the resources and are delighted to share them again with the thyroid community.

This is a place for encouragement, understanding, and progress, at your own pace. Let’s make wellbeing for thyroid patients work for you!

How to use our resources:

Many guides to healthy living and eating recommend tell us that is only we follow an fixed programme over a number of weeks. For some people this direction is helpful but most of us find that staying motivated long term is tough and feel these regimes don’t work for us.

By reviewing the feedback from the people who took part in our pilot project in 2023 we know that even though over 900 people registered and started following the programme, only 36 people completed all programme, submitted their weekly progress reports and completed all the questionnaires. Weight loss is hard and we all struggle to be motivated when we don’t make the progress we had hoped for.

We know that the information in our Wellbeing Hub is valuable and is what many thyroid patients are looking for. So we want you to make it work for you!
